Founder and Owner, Dean's Cards
At Dean's Cards, we have just decreased our baseball card prices across the board by up to 30 percent, thanks to our successful efforts to buy baseball card collections from individual collectors.
Recently, we improved our efforts to reach out to collectors, and we have obtained some great collections. We are happy to share our success with our customers by lowering our prices for individual baseball cards and sets, often up to 30 percent.
On the Dean’s Cards website, savings are clearly marked with a red line through old prices and the new discounted price showing right below it.
One of my goals for Dean's Cards is to have at least one vintage card in every condition, and our pricing changes have been put into place with this objective in mind. Prices have been adjusted based on a careful analysis of the inventory we have in stock for baseball cards.
As we add thousands of vintage baseball cards every week, the prices will automatically adjust to the correct levels -- much like the stock market. If our prices are too high, then the card will not sell as much and the cost will go down as the quantity increases. If the card is priced too low, the quantity will decrease and prices will increase.
The overall effect of this new pricing strategy is that our prices have decreased across the board, in some cases as much as 30 percent -- and that includes complete sets, near complete sets, team sets, and starter sets.

I founded Dean's Cards 12 years ago to provide fellow collectors with a simple, cost effective and enjoyable way to build their collections. Thanks to support of collectors, our company has grown to 14 employees and a 5000 square foot facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we now feature the largest online selection of vintage baseball cards, football cards, basketball cards, hockey cards, and non-sports cards ranging in years from 1887 to the present.
When you visit the Dean's Cards website, I believe you will be impressed with our new pricing model -- and I hope you will join the many thousands of collectors who trust us to help them build their collections.
