Baseball Cards magazine published an article on this set in the 1980's which stated that the cards were printed on one 224 card sheet with 14 rows and 16 columns. Fortunately for me, I completed all those Topps sets from the 1960's back in the 1980's, when baseball cards were cheaper. Luckily for me, I acquired the 1963 Pete Rose rookie card in 1978, at a time before dealers invented the concept of rookie cards, and well before the prices for old cards skyrocketed in value.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1261242413531374726.post-4041896980531719742012-04-21T02:10:06.613-04:002012-04-21T02:10:06.613-04:00I like these card too much, the glorious memories ...I like these card too much, the glorious memories of the past.

plastic cards
plastic card printing
scratch cards printingtalhahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07802919204015056673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1261242413531374726.post-27293082646286066912012-04-19T03:26:54.993-04:002012-04-19T03:26:54.993-04:00I guess if you can't own the real thing, this ...I guess if you can't own the real thing, this is a good alternative. This is fact and had an Uncle who was a photog for Topps at that time. Also obvious that the photos are at Shea because of the orange/yellow wooden seats of both the Field Level and Loge seating. I was a Season Ticket holder for 25 yrs+ and was at the Game with my Dad at the time.

Also the Colt.45's became the Astros in 1965 - not 1966. Mantle hit the first homer in an exhibition game at the new Astrodome in April,1965 and the team was the Astros.
